| I've been attending the Pedro's fest's for years. My first was at Noppet Hill Farm. I was a big fan of the Brodie location and last years location had the most level camping. In the past there was a Beer Garden. I still have a Pint glass from Noppet Hill with the Harpoon label on it. Will we ever see a return of the beer fest and that fantastic deal of buy the glass and refill it for a few dollars?
Also in the past the vendors seemed to offer more schwag to sell. I used to stock up on tubes, lubes, tires, jerseys shorts, etc. As the years went by there were less and less deals until now there are very few.
I think the Bourbon tasting is an awesome idea! I happen to be a HUGE Bourbon fan. How about a beer tasting as well?
What is the trail situation going to be like this year? Personally I prefer to ride long epic XC rides but my friends are not as inclined and probably need trails closer to the festival site.
Two things are certain. I am looking forward to this years revamped and re-organized festival with fresh energy and ideas and #2 A Bike Fest is better than a day of work. |

So many questions! Let's answer the easy ones first. Since April we've had crews in the woods at the venue working diligently to expand the trail offerings on-site. We've had ride leaders meeting there on the weekends to put in new trail and things are shaping up quite nicely. Are we going to be Kingdom Trails this year? No. Will there be lots more riding onsite this year - absolutely and for riders of all abilities. Our volunteers deserve hearty, hearty thanks as do trail gurus Ed, Bill, Elton, Herm, Johnny and Terry (and anybody else I've temporarily forgotten) for logging lots of hours in the woods so far with many more to come. We're also working with the DCR and NEMBA to develop a great bit of riding in the PSF which is also taking shape quite nicely. If you check out the GEAR section you'll see that we've got a swell new pint glass on offer - but since we don't do the beer vending ourselves we do not control how the sales are handled in the beer tent. We'll have the same vendor as last year so the beers will be tasty though. Same goes for the Expo vendors. Keep checking the Expo page to see who's coming as it's updated frequently. I do know that Kenda has some great product they'll have on offer - so you should be well able to stock up on tubes and tires! We don't control what the exhibitors chose to sell vs. demo though so all we can do is let you know who is coming. If it's cool festival stuff you're looking for you won't be the hoodie we've produced this year. It's a new item for us (vs. t-shirts and jerseys) so we're doing a very limited test run - if you want one order soon because it's so nifty that it will sell out. |

| Joan,
I just received the newest news release and it appears the festival is really coming together this year. Kenda is breathing life back into it. I for one cannot wait to see all the changes and am looking forward to a great time. |
