| I'm just curious - more? less?
It would be interesting to see if the change in sponsorship and the big names attending are drawing a bigger (preregistered, anyway) crowd.
....Or if the few bad apples last year did indeed spoiled the bunch! |

| I'm just curious as to what the 'few bad apples' means ? Last year was the best fest ever as far as I am concerned. Super fun and awesome lineup of events, as I have already posted in my combative review against the complaining review.
over the years and years of pedros i have yet to really see any 'bad apples' all i have ever seen is a bunch of bikers having a good time.
i have like ten thousand positives and like three negatives. i might as well say what they are.
1.) campers !! one year we setup our tent, and then somewhere in the night were woken up by this loud engine/generator sound. come to find someone had driven a camper about six feet away from our tent, and the thing turns on and off all night with some kind of generator or something. WICKED annoying. I can take the yelling drunks or whatever, but a damn engine six feet away is super annoying.
2.) the mud year - i felt it was just unsafe. kids were standing about five feet away from cars going about 50mph into a mud bog, then swerving all around. i was really expecting some kid to be dead any minute. parents really gotta keep an eye on their kids dude.
3.) years ago it was all about xc hammerfest. now it isn't, so that is awesome.
other than that, the fest is freakin awesome awesome awesome !! just watch out for mud with your car, and don't camp next to the camper trucks !!
i think more people will register this year because last year was so awesome. so long as the cops aren't a total pain, more people will go next year too !! |

| Did you get a total attendance count yet? I too was interested in how many bikers were there. We camped in the family area and it was great. Looks like it was the best set up yet. Can't wait till next year. |
